Strengthening the Frontline: NADA Hosts WADA’s Global Network to Fight Doping Worldwide

The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) India hosted the World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) Global Anti-Doping Intelligence & Investigations Network Workshop in New Delhi during May 12-16, 2025. Sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and in association with INTERPOL and Sport Integrity Australia, the five-day workshop was attended by anti-doping and law enforcement experts from India, Indonesia, Maldives, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and the South Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organization.
 
Delegates participated in expert sessions covering intelligence gathering, investigation techniques, confidential source management, and analytical methods, all aimed at facilitating greater global cooperation and safeguarding the integrity of sport. WADA Director Günter Younger praised the region's progress, while NADA India Director General Anant Kumar referred to the workshop's role in building sustainable anti-doping capabilities.
