Swiggy Instamart experienced a massive surge in orders this Valentine's Day, processing 581 chocolate and 324 rose orders per minute at peak times. Swiggy co-founder Phani Kishan likened the sales frenzy to a "bull run" for love on X (formerly Twitter). By 10:53 AM, chocolate deliveries had already doubled compared to last Valentine's Day. One Delhi customer spent 29,844 on 174 chocolates. Roses also stole the spotlight, with orders increasing 16-fold compared to a regular Friday.
