TNEA 2025 Rank List Out—Over 2.39 Lakh Candidates Get Engineering Dreams Mapped

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has officially released the TNEA 2025 Rank List on June 27 at tneaonline.org. A total of 2,39,299 candidates have been allotted ranks based on their normalized Class 12 scores, setting the stage for the state’s engineering counselling season.

 

Key Highlights:

 

- Rank List Access: Candidates can check their ranks by logging in with their email ID and password or by downloading the category-wise PDF from the homepage.

- Grievance Window: Students can raise objections or clarify discrepancies between June 28 and July 2 at TNEA Facilitation Centres or the DoTE office.

- Counselling Schedule:

- Special Reservation Categories (7.5%, differently-abled, ex-servicemen, sports): July 7–11

- General & Vocational Streams: July 14–August 19

- Supplementary Counselling: August 21–23

- SCA/SC Categories: August 25–28

- Ranking Criteria: Marks in Mathematics (scaled to 100) and Physics + Chemistry (scaled to 100) were used to compute the aggregate out of 200. Tie-breakers included subject-wise marks, age, and random number.

- Top Ranks: Candidates scoring a perfect 200/200 have been placed between Rank 1 and Rank 141.

- Next Steps: Eligible students must participate in online choice filling, seat allotment, and college reporting as per their counselling window.

 

With the rank list now live, Tamil Nadu’s engineering hopefuls are one step closer to securing their dream seats.
