Fundraising Proposal: Torrent Power's board has made a proposal to raise up to ₹5,000 crore through equity shares, Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs), convertible bonds, debentures, or other equity-linked securities. The proposal will be brought to vote at the forthcoming annual general meeting, as the company aims to raise additional capital for both working capital and capital expenditure requirements.

 

Growth and Expansion: Torrent Power has delineated a strong pipeline of projects in coal, gas, and renewable energy.
