The UAE’s Golden Visa program is a major draw for talented graduates worldwide, offering a 10-year residency to those with outstanding academic credentials in key fields. Here’s what you need to know if you’re considering applying.

Eligible Universities:

Graduates must have a bachelor’s degree from one of the world’s top 100 universities, as recognized by international rankings and the UAE Ministry of Education. Some of the most recognized institutions include MIT, Stanford, Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge, Caltech, ETH Zurich, Imperial College London, and University of Chicago.

Graduates from top-ranked UAE universities are also eligible, provided their institution is classified as A or B by the Ministry of Education.

The Golden Visa prioritizes degrees in science, engineering, healthcare, and technology. Approved disciplines include:

Academic Requirements:

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for international graduates. For UAE graduates, the GPA requirement is 3.5 for A-classified universities and 3.8 for B-classified universities. The degree must be awarded within the last two years.

Application Essentials:

Required documents include an attested graduation certificate, official transcripts, and a letter of recommendation. For international degrees, equivalency certification from the UAE Ministry of Education is necessary.
