India's business spotlight is on Mukesh Ambani as Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is set to announce its Q1 FY26 results on Friday, July 18, 2025. India's highest-valued company and oil-to-telecom conglomerate will hold its board meeting and analyst telecon to review the quarter's performance.
What's on the Agenda
The board will accept and approve unaudited quarter-end consolidated and standalone financial results as of June 30, 2025.
An analyst meeting will then be held to provide additional commentary to the company's financial and operational trajectory.
Projected Financial Features
Kotak Institutional Equities is forecasting a 29% year-on-year increase in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 19,517 crore, led by a one-time boost of Rs 9,000 crore from the sale of Asian Paints equity shares.
Net sales may decline 1% YoY to Rs 2,29,475.7 crore.
Consolidated EBITDA is expected to grow 15.4% YoY, led by robust performance in O2C, digital, retail businesses and pulled down by weak exploration and production.
Market Trend and Strategic Significance
Motilal Oswal is expecting a 32% PAT growth to Rs 20,000 crore and a 15% revenue growth to Rs 2,66,100 crore.
It is the first quarterly result since Anant Ambani became executive director, giving symbolic value to the announcement.
RIL stocks have appreciated by 22% YTD with a market capitalization of more than Rs 20.23 lakh crore.
