Solar and wind farms are facing delayed payments, which may escalate if there are changes in the regulatory framework. In India, payment durations have improved, but there are still hurdles, like land acquisition and transmission connectivity delays. In Europe, wind schemes are confronted with prolonged grid connection delays, hampering renewable growth. On the other hand, India's renewable capacity will increase to 170 GW by March 2025, led by solar expansion. Changes in the regulatory framework and issues in the grid may affect loan repayment for these schemes.
