In a landmark move to strengthen India’s agricultural backbone, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched and laid the foundation for projects and schemes worth more than Rs 42,000 crore. The event, held at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi, marks a crucial phase in the government’s agenda to enhance farmer welfare, food security, and rural development.​

Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated and dedicated to the nation projects worth over Rs 5,450 crore across agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, and food processing sectors, while also laying foundation stones for projects valued at around Rs 815 crore, creating a pipeline for future advancements.​
