Hyderabad-based startup Jarsh Safety is changing the game for industrial safety through its advanced AI-based wearable technology. Founded in 2017 by Kausthub Kaundinya, Sreekanth Kommula, and Anand Kumar, the startup addresses serious workplace dangers such as heat stress, toxic gas leaks, and electrical hazards using advanced safety devices. Its lead product, the ActivCooling Helmet, is the world's first air-conditioned safety helmet, delivering portable heat and cooling to prevent heat stress and fatigue in hot environments. SmartVolt, another innovation, is a wearable voltage sensor that alerts workers to hidden electrical hazards from a safe distance. Jarsh Safety's upcoming product, iSafe, launching in May 2025, features real-time harness monitoring and fall detection to enhance worker safety in high-risk industries.
