Wings of Change: IndiGo Soars, Air India Revamps, SpiceJet Rebounds

IndiGo announces ambitious expansion plans, planning to increase international capacity from 28% to 40% by 2030. The carrier will introduce new routes such as Mumbai-Seychelles and services to Krabi, while growing its fleet to more than 600 aircraft. Air India reinforces its summer 2025 international network with higher frequencies to top destinations and ongoing fleet modernization. Some routes experience temporary closures owing to retrofit programs. SpiceJet is assisted financially by Carlyle Aviation, and they write off SpiceJet's debt worth $40.2 million. The airline intends to re-induct idled 737 MAX planes as well as increase services for Maha Kumbh 2025.
