The National Testing Agency has released CUET PG 2026 admit cards in rolling phases for one of India's most competitive postgraduate entrance examinations. With the exam window running from March 6 to March 27 across 292 cities and 44 shifts, millions of aspirants are now downloading their hall tickets to secure their seats at central universities nationwide.

The countdown to postgraduate admissions at India's top central universities is officially on. The National Testing Agency has issued CUET PG 2026 admit cards for candidates whose exams are scheduled from March 16 to March 19, available for download at exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG using their application number and date of birth. The release marks the latest phase in a rolling admit card rollout that has been underway since early March, with the final exam dates fast approaching.

How The Phased Release Has Unfolded

NTA has deliberately staggered admit card availability to manage candidate traffic on its portal. The CUET PG 2026 admit card was first issued on March 3 for exams from March 6 to 10, followed by a second release on March 7 for candidates appearing between March 11 and 13, with the most recent phase covering March 16 to 19. Candidates appearing in later slots scheduled for March 24, 25, and 27 are advised to watch the official portal closely for their releases in the coming days.

What The Admit Card Contains And Why It Matters

The official hall ticket carries all crucial examination details including the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, reporting time, shift, and exam centre address — and without it, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall under any circumstances.

Along with the admit card, candidates must bring one valid photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar card or passport, and are also advised to review the CUET PG Dress Code 2026 guidelines before heading to their examination centre, as NTA has prescribed specific dress code instructions for both male and female candidates.

How To Download Your Hall Ticket Right Now

Candidates must visit exams.nta.nic.in/CUET-PG, locate the CUET PG 2026 Admit Card link on the homepage, enter their application number along with password or date of birth, fill in the security pin, and click submit — the hall ticket will appear on screen and should be downloaded and printed for exam day.

In case of any discrepancy in candidate particulars, photograph, or signature on the admit card, candidates should immediately contact the NTA Help Line between 10 AM and 5 PM — they may still appear for the exam with the downloaded admit card while NTA makes corrections in the records.

Everything Candidates Need To Know

CUET PG 2026 is being conducted across 292 cities including 16 cities outside India, covering 157 subjects across 44 shifts of 90 minutes each

The last date to submit the CUET PG 2026 application form was January 23, 2026, with fee payment accepted until January 25

The exam is conducted entirely in Computer-Based Test mode at designated NTA-approved centres across India

Candidates were allowed to fill up to four city preferences during registration, and exam centre allotments cannot be changed once the admit card is issued

Admit cards for March 24, 25, and 27 exam dates are expected to be released progressively — candidates should keep checking the official portal

Candidates are advised to keep two to three printed copies of the admit card safe until the entire admission process is fully completed

A Word Of Caution Before Exam Day

With peak exam dates now underway, NTA has advised all candidates to download their admit cards well in advance to avoid last-minute technical difficulties on the portal. The CUET PG 2026 result and answer key will be released subsequently on the official website, with counselling processes at participating central universities to follow shortly thereafter.
