Honda Cars India has increased the price of its popular hybrid sedan, the City e:HEV, by ₹29,900 with immediate effect. The sole ZX variant of the City Hybrid now carries an ex-showroom price of ₹20.85 lakh, up from ₹20.55 lakh earlier. Since its launch in 2022 at ₹19.50 lakh, the model has seen a total price rise of ₹1.35 lakh over three years.

Powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with two electric motors, the City e:HEV delivers a combined output of 108 bhp and 253 Nm torque, mated to an e-CVT transmission. It boasts an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 27.1 km/l, making it a strong contender in the premium hybrid sedan segment against rivals like Hyundai Verna.

Despite the hike, the City e:HEV remains an attractive choice for buyers seeking style, technology, and fuel efficiency in one package.
