Fifty and Fabulous: IHG’s Crowne Plaza Lucknow Ushers in a New Era of Hospitality

IHG Hotels & Resorts today announced the launch of Crowne Plaza Lucknow as a milestone achievement in becoming its 50th operational hotel in India. Strategically located on Lucknow-Sultanpur Road with convenient access to Shahid Path, the city's new IT hub, as well as the cricket stadium, the 110-room hotel further enhances IHG's luxury and premium brand portfolio in the country.
 
The new Crowne Plaza Lucknow features over 40,000 square feet of meeting spaces, all-day dining restaurant, lounge bar, club lounge, fitness centre, and rooftop pool, and is a perfect location for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel is specially designed to meet the changing demands of today's travelers, mixing productivity with comfort and the new trend of blended travel—where work and leisure are combined into a single trip.

With this start, IHG now has 50 hotels across five brands in India and a robust pipeline of nearly 70 hotels to open in the next two to three years. The company's growth strategy is to drive deeper presence in high-growth cities and deliver outstanding hospitality experience in all segments—mainstream to luxury.
