A recent address by Pakistan's ex-Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the National Assembly has made Indian social media go crazy, as netizens make eerie comparisons between his style of delivery and that of Rosesh Sarabhai, the iconic and quirky character of the Indian sitcom "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai." The viral clip, making rounds on social media since this morning, presents Bhutto Zardari's poetic style and melodramatic articulation as many claim to be reminiscent of Rosesh's signature style.

The clip, taken from Bhutto Zardari's speech on May 7, made waves on the internet following Operation Sindoor-India's retaliatory response attack on terrorist installations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir in response to the Pahalgam massacre. As tensions were high, Bhutto's distinctive speaking patterns became a laughingstock, with X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram users sharing side-by-side clips and jokes. "Totally, I can see the resemblance," and "New meme template," were among the comments pouring in on social media, citing the uncanny likeness of their speaking patterns.

To the chaos, the meme wave was further added to by Indian comedian Zervaan J Bunshah's spoof of Bhutto's speech, with audience members commenting on the inadvertent but laughable similarity to Rosesh's childlike poetry and dramatics. The meme trend has brought about a meme wave, with Bhutto's lines-including such as "Kaun raat ke andhere main humla karte hain. Chorr raat ke andhere main humla karta hain. Busdil raat ke andhere main humla karte hain."-now being remixed and captioned in the true Rosesh spirit. This is not the first time Bhutto's accent and delivery have been in the news; his speeches have also been ridiculed previously. But this morning's viral sensation has made him an unlikely web sensation, with social media users on both sides of the border laughing along.
