Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be the keynote speakers of the 'Jai Hind Sabha' in the city on May 31, a high-profile rally that will be dedicated to showing respects to Indian Armed Forces and debating national security issues in the wake of Operation Sindoor. The rally is as part of a national Congress campaign, and 'Jai Hind Sabhas' are being organized in all major cities from May 20 to 30 with the objective of paying homage to the bravery and sacrifice of India's military.

The Gandhis, Congress party leaders and army veterans will use the platform to applaud the armed forces for their participation in recent counter-terror raids and to raise people's voices on immediate security violations and the government's handling of national security. The Congress party has made significant noises in backing the armed forces following India's surgical strikes in Operation Sindoor, while at the same time demanding greater accountability and transparency by the government.

The 'Jai Hind Sabha' is also likely to register massive attendance, symbolizing public pride in the army and growing concern about national security issues. The event will also provide a rallying point for Congress volunteers in the area during the approach to political landmarks.
