Jindal Saw Limited reported its consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, with a net profit after tax of ₹2.91 billion, correcting an earlier figure of ₹869.2 million. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹50.47 billion, reflecting a 7% year-on-year decline amid softer demand in the steel pipes segment and a slowdown in construction activity.
Despite the challenging market environment, Jindal Saw’s board has recommended a final dividend of ₹2 per share, underlining its commitment to shareholder returns. The quarter saw sales of iron and steel pipes drop by 9.2% to 434,000 million tonnes, as government spending moderated post-election cycle. However, lower input costs-particularly for iron ore and coking coal-helped ease overall expenses, which fell by 4.7% to ₹46.02 billion.
The company continues to focus on operational efficiency and prudent cost management to navigate the current demand environment. Jindal Saw’s diversified manufacturing footprint and ongoing investments in technology position it to capture future growth opportunities as infrastructure activity rebounds.
