Abdul Basith, a student of Government Model Higher Primary School, Uppinangady, has been selected to represent India at the prestigious Sakura Science Fair in Japan. It began at the INSPIRE Awards MANAK competition where he showcased a science model to assist special needs people, particularly those who have lost their hands. The innovation, valued as much for its usability and social applicability, earned Basith a spot at the national expo in IIT Delhi and now even a highly sought-after invite to the international platform in Japan.
