Last Mile Enterprises Ltd (LME), an Rs 800 crore plus market cap firm, today at the Sankalpam 2025 event in Chennai announced that it has floated a strategic joint venture, AgriMile, with Agribid, a highly rated Indian agri-e-marketplace. This is a milestone moment in the Indian agri-tech industry.

AgriMile is set to revolutionize the farm landscape using Agribid's huge grassroots base of over 15 million marginal and small farmers and LME's scalable technology, manufacturing, and rural infrastructure capabilities. The new platform will be digital-first, providing farmers with real-time crop health information through satellite tracking, hyperlocal weather reports, handheld soil testers, and multilingual advisory services through SMS, voice, and a bespoke app.

The venture's initial products also include an in-house call center for offering expert guidance. In the coming years, AgriMile plans to diversify into the sales of certified seeds, fertilizers, low-cost equipment leasing, digital crop insurance, agri-financing, and direct market linkages for post-harvest produce.

With over 150 million potential farmers in its market, AgriMile intends to enable India's farmers with pertinent information, efficient access to resources, and sustainable opportunity for growth, with the potential to empower millions of livelihoods and generate recurring revenue for the joint venture.
