Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is set to launch a five-day workshop on digital fabrication machines, offering school students hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. Scheduled to take place at Fab Lab Kerala from May 12 to May 16, the program aims to introduce participants to essential tools, design software, and advanced digital machines.

The workshop, organized in collaboration with Fablab Kerala, will cover key fabrication techniques, including 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC routing, PCB milling, and screen printing. Students from classes 8 to 12 can enroll, with a maximum of 15 participants per batch.

KSUM has designed the initiative to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, ensuring students gain valuable exposure to digital manufacturing processes. The sessions will run daily from 10 am to 5 pm, with participants required to bring their own laptops and accessories.

The program fee is set at Rs 2,500 per student, and upon completion, attendees will receive certification from KSUM and Fablab Kerala. The initiative aligns with KSUM’s broader mission to foster entrepreneurship and technological innovation among young learners.
