Event Overview: In a grand display of harmony and wellness, the 28 kms long coastline of Visakhapatnam city was turned into a living painting of yoga this morning as Yogandhara 2025 was held with over five lakh people participating. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, and Union AYUSH Minister Prataprao Jadhav participated in the session, commemorating the 11th International Day of Yoga.

The session began at 6:30 AM with the Common Yoga Protocol, a 45-minute prayer, asana, pranayama, and meditation practice.
They sliced across all ages and backgrounds, from schoolchildren to Navy staff
The session was designed to set a Guinness World Record for the world's largest open-air yoga session

300+ yoga spaces were established along Beach Road, each staffed with professional instructors and demonstrators

Over 10,000 young people from 47 sports organizations were transformed into youth ambassadors
Cultural and Institutional Support:
Yoga practitioners from ISHA Foundation, Art of Living, Patanjali Yogpeeth, and the Indian Navy participated
Andhra University and the AYUSH Department conducted training for 8,000 teachers
The event theme, Yoga for One Earth, One Health, promoted balance between personal and planet health
