Tata Motors Accelerates EV Push: New Launches and Upgrades to Mainstream Electric Mobility in FY25

Tata Motors will go deeper into its electric vehicle (EV) game this fiscal year, looking to make EVs a mass-market choice for Indian consumers. Tata Motors will launch the much-anticipated Harrier.ev on June 3 followed by the Sierra.ev and also revise existing EV models to add value and interest. Despite a 10% fall in EV sales in FY25, Tata Motors is committed to expanding its EV offerings and strengthening its support infrastructure.
 
Strategies include aggressive marketing, partnering with major brands, and development of major-format stores in key markets to increase visibility and convenience. Tata Motors, with more than 38% of India's EV market already in its pockets, is also focusing on cost-reduction initiatives to stay competitive. Battery prices are expected to fall and the infrastructure keep growing, these product steps are poised to make Tata a mass-market and premium electric leader.
