Brad Pitt returns behind the wheel with the highly anticipated trailer release for F1, the need-for-speed racing drama by Joseph Kosinski, director of Top Gun: Maverick. The film's nearly three-minute trailer, released today, gives fans a need-for-speed look into the Formula One world, focusing on Pitt's character, Sonny Hayes-a retired star driver who returns to help rejuvenate a struggling team.

The movie focuses on Sonny Hayes, who is approached by his old partner Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem) to coach new driver Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) and save the APXGP team from being decommissioned. The trailer suggests high-speed racing action, team camaraderie, and the struggle to merge old-school grit and new talent. Kerry Condon and Tobias Menzies also appear, the movie having been filmed over a number of real Grand Prix weekends for realism.

Fans are already abuzz, with social media users complimenting Pitt's charm and the trailer's tension build. One commented, "Imagine being 60 and yet cooler than all the 30-year-old actors! Brad Pitt is made different!" Another commented, "The build-up of tension is so great, hooked already!"

F1 will have a global theatrical release on June 25, 2025, and will be presented in a variety of languages such as English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film is written by Ehren Kruger, music by Hans Zimmer, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and seven-time F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton.
