The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has kicked off its highly anticipated ISB @ 75 Junior & Senior Open Badminton Tournament, drawing over 350 players from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. The event, part of ISB’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, is being held at the newly renovated Jashanmal Auditorium, featuring four international-standard courts.
The tournament, sanctioned by the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation, will see more than 400 matches played over five days, culminating in a grand closing ceremony. Categories range from U9 to U19 singles and doubles, elite men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
ISB Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese officially inaugurated the event, joined by esteemed guests from the sports community. Winners will receive cash prizes and trophies, while all participants will be awarded digital certificates.
With intense competition and top-tier talent on display, ISB’s badminton tournament is set to be one of the biggest sporting events in the region this year.
