On 12 April 2025, Gurugram saw the Cyclothon 2.0, a landmark event in Haryana's state-level drive against drug abuse. The event, organized by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and inaugurated by Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, highlighted the city's resolve to create a healthier, drug-free society. With a lot of enthusiastic activity from all sections, the event laid stress on the all-important role of youth and people in creating India's future.
Flag-Off and Participation:
Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh flagged off Cyclothon 2.0 from NH-248A's Ghamroj Toll Plaza and personally participated in the ride to encourage youth participation.
District Commissioner Ajay Kumar and ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena also cycled with participants to encourage public participation.
Massive Public Engagement:
Volunteers from all ages, including students, elderly people, retired army veterans, government employees, and cycling fans, actively engaged in the event.
Elderly citizens from all over Haryana exchanged their experiences to motivate future generations.

Cyclothon traversed prominent areas in Gurugram like Dwarka Expressway, SPR Road, Vatika Chowk, and Basai while raising awareness against drug abuse.
