Hyundai Motor India has unveiled an aggressive roadmap to launch 26 new models by FY2030, even as it reported a 4% profit decline in FY25 amid fierce competition from Mahindra and Tata Motors. The lineup will feature 20 internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, six electric vehicles (EVs), and new strong hybrid models, marking Hyundai’s most ambitious product push yet. This blitz is a component of a plan to allow Hyundai to reclaim its No. 2 spot in India's passenger vehicle segment, as it readies eight new models for introduction over the coming two years and increases production at its newest Talegaon plant by 2026. SUVs remain at the center of everything, with the Creta ruling midsize SUV sales. Hyundai officials highlighted commitment to innovation and customers' demands, pointing to confidence in a market revival despite near-term challenges.
