Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has provided a renewed impetus to the development path of the state by launching 18 new projects worth Rs 113 crores. The move was announced at the Chief Minister Camp Office in Tanakpur, Champawat, reflecting the government's focus on all-round progress and infrastructure upgradation.

Key Highlights

A record 18 projects were either commissioned or foundation stones laid, covering essential sectors like roads, health care, drinking water, irrigation, housing, and rural development.

The projects aim to improve the state's infrastructure, improve connectivity, and enhance the quality of life for inhabitants in several districts.

The event dovetails into the state's recent momentum, with various big-ticket initiatives launched in the previous months, ranging from schemes in education, energy, sports, dairy, and tourism.

CM Dhami reaffirmed his government's vision to make Uttarakhand self-sustaining and resilient, and to double the state's GDP in the next five years.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the projects are all part of an overall strategy to develop Uttarakhand, provide employment opportunities, and generate sustainable growth for generations to come.
