Policing Pioneers Take Centre Stage at World Police Summit Awards 2025 in Dubai

The 2025 World Police Summit Awards in Dubai marked global law enforcement excellence with a record 900+ submissions and a red-carpet gala. India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Italy, the US, and other winners were recognized in 12 categories, mirroring the summit's growing interest in innovation and community relevance.

Awards presented included Hyderabad Police (India) for 'Excellence in Anti-Narcotics' in recognition of its Narcotics Control Wing, SDPO Sargodha City Police Station (Pakistan) for 'Excellence in Criminal Investigation', and Hong Kong Police for 'Best Innovation in Policing'. Other award recipients of note were Italy's Postal Police Cybersecurity Unit, Malta's European Forensics Institute, Mexico's Secretariat of Public Safety, and Ethiopia's Federal Police.

Lt Gen Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri commended the winners for promoting global policing standards and creating more secure communities through technology and cooperation.
