Union Minister for Panchayati Raj Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh) inaugurated the Ministry of Panchayati Raj Pavilion at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. The pavilion showcased AI-enabled platforms such as SabhaSaar, PRAMAN, and eGramSaathi, designed to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in grassroots governance.
At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, Union Minister for Panchayati Raj Rajiv Ranjan Singh inaugurated the MoPR Pavilion, highlighting India’s commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence for grassroots governance.
The pavilion presented AI-driven platforms developed by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj to strengthen Gram Sabhas and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). Key solutions included:
SabhaSaar: AI-enabled platform for real-time monitoring of Gram Sabha proceedings.
PRAMAN: Digital system ensuring accuracy and transparency in governance records.
eGramSaathi: Citizen-centric tool designed to improve service delivery and responsiveness.
The inauguration was attended by dignitaries including Samrat Choudhary (Deputy CM of Bihar), Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal (Minister for Industries & Road Construction, Bihar), Shreyasi Singh (Minister for IT & Sports, Bihar), and Sanjay Kumar Jha (Rajya Sabha MP), along with senior MoPR officials.
Officials emphasized that integrating AI into Panchayati Raj systems will transform village governance, making it more transparent, efficient, and citizen-responsive. The initiative aligns with India’s broader vision of using AI for inclusive development, bridging digital divides, and empowering rural communities.
