Literary Luminaries Shine Bright: President Murmu’s Majestic Tribute at 58th Jnanpith Awards

President Droupadi Murmu presented the 58th Jnanpith Award with great fanfare at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, to Sanskrit scholar Jagadguru Rambhadracharya and renowned poet-lyricist Gulzar in recognition of their outstanding contributions to Indian literature. While Rambhadracharya accepted the award in person, Gulzar was not present due to medical conditions, for which the President wished him all the best and appreciated his literary legacy. The event highlighted the role of literature in transforming India's identity and unity, with President Murmu praising both awardees for inspiring generations through their imagination and power. The Jnanpith Award, which is one of India's highest literary honors, goes on to place the nation's rich linguistic and cultural heritage in the limelight.
