The much-awaited film adaptation of the epic Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and featuring Ranbir Kapoor, has achieved a major milestone. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared the title announcement video of the film, paving the way for its public release this week.
 
CBFC Clearance and Video Details
  • Title announcement video, "TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT – RAMAYANA 3D," has been issued a 'U' certificate by the CBFC's Mumbai Regional Office on May 5, 2025. 
  • The 2 minute and 36 second long video is likely to release this week and kickstart the promotional campaign of the film.

  • Ramayana will be coming in two parts: Part 1 is scheduled for Diwali 2026, and Part 2 for Diwali 2027.
