Striding for Strength: MSSI Hyderabad Marks World MS Day at City Centre Mall

Hyderabad city witnessed the city center outreach of World MS Day 2025 with a vibrant awareness event at City Centre Mall on May 24. The event, part of a national campaign with the theme "Navigating MS Together," was intended to raise the issues affecting people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and give a sense of community solidarity.

 

They engaged with interactive information kiosks, motivational speeches, and creative displays highlighting the importance of early detection, support groups, and access to quality care. Volunteers and MS warriors shared personal testimonials, dispelling myths and evoking empathy. The event also featured family-friendly activities, hence it was a celebration of hope and strength for the community.

 

World MS Day, marked globally on May 30th, is a reminder of the 2.9 million people with MS worldwide and the need to come together for action to better their lives. The work of MSSI Hyderabad is part of a greater series of events across India, including webinars, workshops, and public campaigns, all with the aim of raising the voices of individuals with MS and advocating for better healthcare and awareness.
