Sunrisers Hyderabad Set Mammoth 231-Run Target in Batting Blitz

In a high-octane showdown, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a colossal 231/6 in their 20 overs, unleashing a brutal assault on the opposition bowlers. Led by a fiery 94* off 48 balls from wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan, Hyderabad dominated from the outset. Kishan’s innings, laced with 7 fours and 5 sixes, anchored the innings after Abhishek Sharma gave a flying start with a 17-ball 34.

Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen also chipped in with quick cameos, scoring at strike rates of 170 and 184.62 respectively. Aniket Verma’s 26 off just 9 deliveries took the total beyond the 230-mark, despite regular wickets falling at the other end.

Bowling efforts were largely fruitless against the Hyderabad onslaught. Romario Shepherd emerged as the most economical bowler, conceding just 14 runs in his 2 overs and bagging 3 crucial wickets. The rest of the bowling unit, however, faced severe punishment, with Suyash Sharma and Lungi Ngidi both going for over 12 runs per over.
