Western Railway has teamed up with the beloved animated character Chhota Bheem in a unique initiative to raise awareness about railway safety. The collaboration, signed at the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit 2025 in Mumbai, aims to educate passengers—especially children—on responsible behavior in railway premises.

The campaign will address key safety concerns such as trespassing, footboard travel, stunt performances, and the growing trend of making unauthorized social media reels on trains. Western Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Vineet Abhishek, emphasized that using familiar characters like Chhota Bheem will make safety education more engaging and accessible to younger audiences.

Under this year-long initiative, Chhota Bheem and his friends will feature across multiple platforms, including print, digital, television, radio, posters, and school programs. The goal is to instill a culture of safety and responsibility among passengers while discouraging risky behaviors that endanger lives.

Rajiv Chilakalapudi, CEO and Managing Director of Green Gold Animation Pvt. Ltd., the creators of Chhota Bheem, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the potential of storytelling to influence behavior positively. The campaign leverages Chhota Bheem’s widespread popularity to ensure railway safety messages reach a broad audience.

Western Railway believes that integrating trusted animated figures into public safety messaging will significantly enhance outreach and impact, making railway safety education more effective and relatable.
