Golden Jubilee Glitz: CM Siddaramaiah to Sparkle at Mysore Bunts Association’s 50th Year Bash

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will tomorrow at 10 am inaugurate the Golden Jubilee of the Mysore Bunts Association at the Asha Prakash Shetty Bunts Convention Hall, Vijayanagar 3rd Stage. This was announced by Association President T. Prabhakar Shetty during a press meet, calling the milestone event historic to the Bunts community that came into existence in 1975.
 
The event will be attended by Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, along with a host of other dignitaries such as District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, former Minister B. Ramanath Rai, MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, and other leaders.
 
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will also officially inaugurate the Vinaya and K. Subramanya Rai Bayalu Rangamandira as part of the festival. The day will also witness the release of the 'Bunt Swarna Siri 2025' souvenir, felicitation of achievers in different fields, and cultural activities such as 'Kshetra Puranamanjari' and the 'Devi Mahatme' Yakshagana production.
 
The Mysore Bunts Association, started in 1974 as the Bunts Club of Mysore with only 25 members, has a membership of over 550 today and actively disseminates the cultural and social well-being of the Bunts community in the area.
