Kriti Sanon reached a significant point in time today has marked 11 years since her debut in Heropanti, making a post on social media recalling nostalgic behind-the-scenes moments of her first film in the industry, and expressing her gratitude, saying, “11 years of living my dreams as an actor.” Kriti starred alongside Tiger Shroff in Heropanti which released on May 24, 2014, and since then she has become one of the most versatile actors in the business.
Kriti is currently preparing for her next project Tere Ishk Mein under the director Aanand L Rai, where, according to Sanon, she is looking to showcase a new, intense side of her craft as she takes on the role of Mukti, a character making waves due to its emotional complexity. Sanon will also be starring opposite Southern superstar Dhanush for the first time in the film which is set to release in Hindi and Tamil on November 28.
The teaser for Tere Ishk Mein has already gotten a lot of attention because it features Kriti in a dramatic and strong avatar. The film is also expected to have unrequited love or emotional conflict as a central theme, with music from A.R. Rahman. Tere Ishk Mein might direct the viewer's attention as a spiritual successor to her previous film, Raanjhanaa, a previous film by Rai that received critical acclaim.
As Kriti Sanon enters her twelfth year in Bollywood fans and industry stakeholders are both excited to see her performance in the film, which is being publicized as one of her most challenging roles to date.
